POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Engineer (SE) is a technical salesperson who will develop, lead and execute sales projects focused on our plastic injection molding services. The SE is part of the Sales team and he/she will work on acquiring new business opportunities for the plastic injection molding department. This is a sales position.

Two or more years’ experience in plastic injection molding or related sales. Above average presentation skills. Must be especially adept at helping the customer navigate the design requirements that are unique to the plastic injection molding process.

• Develop and implement solutions and presentations for potential customers.
• Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the Sales, Implementation, and Product Management teams to execute market strategies.
• Successfully position the company to gain customer commitment for references and referrals.
• Enhance customer intimacy and provide thought leadership through strategic dialogue with key customers.
• Leverage demonstration tools to articulate the value of our products.
• Create the required documentation (Design Documents, SOWs etc.)
• This role may require up to 30% travel
• Other core expectations will be defined by your direct supervisor/manager

• Mold manufacturing background highly desirable but not mandatory

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
• Requires a minimum B.A degree in a technical discipline or equivalent and 2-4 years of sales experience in a fast-growing company
• 5+ years of industry-related sales experience a plus
